A wave of insider selling hit AMAT this week. Filings dated June 17 show CEO Gary Dickerson sold $49.2M in shares on June 15–16. He offloaded 83,000 shares at around $591–$597 each.
That wasn't the only sale. CTO Omkaram Nalamasu filed sales totaling $20.8M. Division President Prabu Raja added $31.6M more. The Independent Chairman also sold $5.5M. CFO Brice Hill sold $1.25M earlier in June.
Combined, AMAT insiders filed over $113M in sales across seven executives. This is a rare cluster of C-suite selling in a compressed window.
Over at WBI, Director David Capobianco filed a $177M sale on June 22. He sold nearly 5.9 million shares at $30.05. WaterBridge Infrastructure only recently went public. A director exiting at that scale is notable.
Elsewhere, the Executive Chairman of Turkish real estate firm DAP Gayrimenkul filed a $5.6M sale on June 23. His deputy filed a further $4.2M sale the same day. Two top executives selling simultaneously is a pattern worth watching.
Insider selling is not automatically bearish. Many trades follow pre-planned schedules. But the breadth and speed of the AMAT activity stands out.
