Winners and Losers from Results

Oscar Health is the standout gainer. The insurer surged after raising guidance. Its stock is up 109% year-to-date. Short positioning is paper-thin at just 0.2 days to cover. Duolingo went the other way. It beat estimates and lifted its outlook — but the market wanted more. The stock dropped sharply and is now down 22.9% year-to-date. Bears are circling, with a short score of 67.6.

Celsius Holdings also disappointed. Its flagship brand saw sales fall 11.7% with margin pressure accelerating. That adds to a tough stretch for the energy drink maker.

Chewy short interest hit 81% of free float this week, up 5.4 points in seven days. That is one of the largest weekly jumps in large-cap US names. Meanwhile, CoStar CEO Andrew Florance bought $2.5M of his own stock on August 4. That is a rare open-market bet from a founder-CEO. Charles Schwab, co-chairman of SCHW, continued trimming — over $38M sold in recent weeks.
