Short sellers made bold moves this week. RDDT saw the biggest jump among liquid names. Its SI % of Free Float hit 18.1%, up 4.6 percentage points in just seven days. Bears are clearly skeptical of Reddit's recent run.
MP Materials is the week's most alarming squeeze setup. SI sits at 20.4% of FF. Utilisation is maxed at 100%. Shares available to borrow? Just 1.1% of short interest. Shorts are trapped with almost nowhere to cover. That is a powder keg.
WOLF remains the most heavily shorted name worth watching. SI % FF stands at 85.4%, with zero shares available to borrow. The semiconductor firm has shed 50% over three months. Shorts show no sign of retreating.
FLWS sits at with a punishing 31-day DTC. holds a short score of 89.6 with 68.9% FF short. Biotech continues to dominate bearish conviction.
Lucky Strike Entertainment tops the short score table at 94.7. Its DTC of 26 days signals how crowded that trade has become.
Anthropic's looming mega-IPO drew attention to AI-adjacent names. Watch for short positioning to shift as that listing approaches.
