Executives at several US companies filed large stock sales this week. One founder went the other direction and bought aggressively.
MaxLinear CEO Kishore Seendripu filed over $37M in sales across six transactions between August 14–17. Shares were sold at prices between $84 and $87. The filings were reported August 18. That scale of concentrated selling from a founder-CEO is hard to ignore.
Medpace Holdings chairman and CEO August Troendle filed two sales totalling nearly $26M. The trades occurred August 19–20 and were reported August 21. Two other Medpace insiders also sold during the same period, taking total disclosed selling at the company past $29M this week.
Parker-Hannifin saw six separate insiders file sales, totalling nearly $16M. Not one of them bought. The cluster of exits, all reported by August 19, is the broadest insider selling pattern in the dataset this week.
The standout on the buying side: Kelcy Warren, founder and Executive Chairman of Energy Transfer, filed purchases totalling nearly across two days — August 18 and 19. Warren bought roughly one million units at just over $21 each. That's a clear vote of confidence from the company's own founder.
Iridium Communications also drew attention. Five insiders filed sales totalling $18.8M in the same week, with no purchases reported.
