Corporate insiders filed a wave of sell orders last week, with two US stocks drawing particular attention from watchers of insider activity.
Iridium goes first. Six executives at IRDM — including the COO and Chief Legal Officer — filed sales totalling $19.3 million on August 19. COO Suzanne McBride sold $4.3 million worth of shares at around $50.28. Director Thomas Fitzpatrick led the pack, dumping $10.5 million. All trades occurred on August 17 in a single coordinated session.
Parker-Hannifin's C-suite follows. At least six insiders at PH filed sales worth nearly $17.8 million this week. President/COO Andrew Ross sold $5.8 million at $1,057 per share. The CIO, an EVP, a Director, and division presidents all sold on the same day — August 14 — with filings arriving August 18–19.
Energy executives also sold. FANG CEO Matthew Kaes Van't Hof filed $2 million in sales on August 24. The COO and CFO also sold. Over at COP, General Counsel Kelly Rose sold $2 million and a senior VP filed another $1.3 million this week.
Tanker fleet sells too. At DHT, four insiders — including the CFO — filed combined sales of over $9 million on August 21, all reported on August 24.
