The biggest insider story of the week centres on NVIDIA. Director Mark A. Stevens filed $411M in open-market sales between August 31 and September 2. No 10b5-1 pre-planned sale flag was attached. General Counsel Timothy Teter added another $5M in sales on the same days. That is a notable cluster of insider selling at the chip giant.

GameStop moved in the opposite direction. CEO Ryan Cohen bought $20M worth of shares this week. Bears appear to be covering. The stock is finding a new floor, according to ORTEX flow data.

Short sellers remain very active in EV and high-risk growth names. Lucid SI % of FF jumped 14 points in a week to nearly 50%. Borrow availability is almost gone at just 0.4%. Wolfspeed sits at 83% SI % of FF with zero borrow left. Both names also attracted bearish options flow Friday.

On the analyst side, AppLovin scored a fresh upgrade. It now holds 27 buy ratings. Travel names — Airbnb, Expedia, and DoorDash — all got higher price targets, suggesting analysts see strong consumer spending through autumn.

Europe Highlights

UK homebuilders are under pressure. Barratt Redrow faces results day as a sector sell-off deepens. Peers Bellway, Vistry, Taylor Wimpey and Persimmon are all caught in the same downdraft. The timing ahead of Lennar's Q3 report next week adds to the sector's uneasy mood on both sides of the Atlantic.
