Bill Gates filed purchases of RSG (Republic Services) worth more than $170m in aggregate over the first three days of September, filings reported on 3 September showed. Gates holds a major stake in the waste-management giant. Across multiple transactions on 1 and 2 September, he added over 543,000 shares at around $220 each, a rare cluster of open-market buying that stands out against his normally steady accumulation pace.
