An NVIDIA director filed one of this month's biggest insider sell transactions. Mark Stevens, an independent board member, filed sales totalling $411m across late August and early September, covering nearly 1.85 million shares. Stevens is not a C-level executive, and the nature of the sales has not been confirmed as discretionary. Investors should treat the signal with caution until more context emerges from any accompanying plan disclosures.
On the buy side, the standout trade came from outside the US. Kenneth Bryan Dart, the principal shareholder of live-casino group Evolution AB, filed in late August showing he had purchased over 10 million shares across two days in late July. The total outlay came to roughly $716m at prevailing prices. Dart is one of Europe's most closely watched corporate investors. His stake accumulation was disclosed well after the trades settled, a common lag for large-shareholder filings. Evolution's short interest currently stands at 8.7% of free float, giving any short sellers some exposure to a well-funded buyer on the register.
Elsewhere, GQG Partners filed a disclosure showing it reduced its position in Indian utility Adani Energy Solutions by around $188m, while Caladium Investment trimmed its stake in EV maker Ather Energy by $204m.
