Wells Fargo analyst Michael Turrin made two sharply contrasting calls on Monday, downgrading ADBE from Buy to Sell while simultaneously upgrading TYL from Hold to Buy.
The Adobe cut is the more striking move. Turrin slashed his target to $225 from $270, a 17% reduction. The consensus still leans positive with 23 Hold ratings and 11 Buys, but five Sells are already on the books. Adobe carries a market cap of $94.3 billion and short interest sits at 4.6% of free float.
Tyler Technologies, by contrast, got a significant vote of confidence. Turrin raised his target to $400 from $335, implying over 19% upside from the prior target level. The government software firm has an $13.5 billion market cap.
Elsewhere, RBC Capital's Matthew Hedberg lifted targets across enterprise software names. NOW got a new target of $176, up from $130. DDOG moved to $320 from $280. Both carry dominant Buy consensus ratings, with 43 and 42 Buy ratings respectively.
On the auto side, RBC's Tom Narayan raised his target on GM to $102 from $100. He trimmed APTV slightly to $77. Susquehanna cut its DAL target to $95 from $100, keeping a Buy rating despite the reduction.
GDDY was downgraded to Hold from Buy by RBC, though the $95 target held unchanged.
