Executives at the US market's biggest technology names have been the most active sellers over the past month, according to ORTEX insider tracking data. NVIDIA, Broadcom, and CrowdStrike all rank among the heaviest insider selling names by value. CrowdStrike stock is down 51% year-to-date. The sales still kept coming.
The sell pressure is harder to read at NVIDIA. The stock is up nearly 15% this year and carries a $5.2 trillion market cap. Insider disposals at those levels often reflect routine diversification rather than conviction. Without confirmed 10b5-1 plan disclosures, the signal stays ambiguous.
On the buying side, Corebridge Financial and Kodiak Sciences show the strongest insider purchase momentum over the past month among mid-to-large names. Kodiak has rallied 207% year-to-date. Fresh buying at elevated prices is a stronger signal than buying after a decline.
Lennar stands out for a different reason. The homebuilder is down 25% this year and carries a short interest days-to-cover of 7.9. ORTEX data shows it led the insider sold category this month, which may unsettle investors already watching the elevated short position.
Ahead of earnings, General Motors reports Monday and Tesla on Tuesday. ORTEX's German car registration data, which leads Tesla's revenue by 43 days, is running 269% above the same quarter last year. That is a strong real-economy reading ahead of the print, though it is a leading indicator, not a revenue forecast.
No fresh Schedule 13D activist filings were available in this data pull.
