Auto Heavyweights Lead a Crowded Earnings Week

The final days of October bring a dense slate of results. Auto earnings dominate the back half of the week. Ferrari reports Tuesday 3 November. Honda Motor follows on Thursday the 6th.

Austrian car registration data, which leads Ferrari's revenue by 22 days, is running 75% below the same quarter last year. That is a weak signal and a weak fit, so the print remains genuinely open.

Honda faces a cleaner read. Japanese car registrations, a strong-fit leading indicator for Honda's revenue, are running 10% below the prior year period with all three months counted. That points to a subdued quarter.

Polestar also reports Thursday 5 November. Two leading datasets pull in opposite directions. Dutch car data, a strong fit, runs 37% below year-ago levels. German car data, equally strong-fit, runs 32% above. Investors should expect the debate to dominate the call.

Also on Thursday, Renault posts results. Austrian registrations are up 6% year-on-year. Dutch data is running 19% below. The split picture reflects a mixed European market environment.

Today, Safran and Air Liquide headline European reporters. Erie Indemnity is the main US name today.

The Russell 2000 December review ranking cut-off falls today. ORTEX Index Rebalance Radar puts Life Time Group Holdings at 90% deletion probability. UMB Financial sits at the same odds. Both announcements are due 13 November.
