Auto Sector Dominates Pre-November Earnings Rush

A heavy reporting calendar opens this week. Autos, insurers, and media giants all face investors before Friday.

Today and tomorrow bring the first wave. Ferrari N.V. kicks off the high-profile auto season on Monday, November 3, with a Q3 earnings call. Austrian vehicle registration data, a leading indicator for Ferrari revenue tracked by ORTEX Alt Data, is running 75% below the same quarter last year. That is a sharp deterioration. Ferrari's premium positioning may cushion the blow, but the signal warrants watching.

Polestar Automotive reports Wednesday, November 5. Dutch car registration data leads Polestar revenue by 60 days, with a strong historical fit. It is running 37% below the same quarter a year ago. German registrations, a second leading indicator, point in the opposite direction, up 32%.

Honda Motor also reports November 6. Japanese vehicle registrations, a strong-fit leading indicator for Honda revenue, are running 10% below last year's levels.

Insurance features on Tuesday, November 4. Allstate releases Q3 results after the close. The company, worth $65 billion, is one of the largest prints of the week.

Media closes the week out. Charter Communications reports Friday, November 6. Cable subscriber trends remain the key focus.

Sony Group reports November 5 from Tokyo. The electronics and entertainment conglomerate carries a $146 billion market cap.

No significant IPOs are scheduled in the seven-day window.
