Insiders Move Big: $411M NVDA Sell, $51M Asia Buy

An NVDA director filed $411 million in sales at the start of September, making it the largest individual insider disposal in the latest data window. Mark A. Stevens, an independent director, sold 1.85 million shares across August 31 and September 2, with filings reported on September 2. That single position liquidation dwarfs most corporate activity in the period.

Across the Atlantic, NVDA's General Counsel Timothy Teter separately filed a $6.5 million sale of 30,000 shares on the same dates. Two insiders selling simultaneously at a stock trading above $220 is worth watching, even if neither filing disclosed a discretionary versus pre-planned motive.

The contrast to Asia is stark. Ma Jianrong, Executive Chairman of Shenzhou International Group Holdings, bought 11 million shares over four consecutive days from September 1 to 4, spending $51.4 million in total. The Hong Kong-listed textile manufacturer saw its own chairman add to his stake steadily while JPMorgan, a 5% owner, sold $19.9 million on the same stock in the same week.

Elsewhere, Serdar Turhan, Executive Chairman of Turkish savings firm Katilimevim, spent $42.6 million buying shares across three sessions from September 1 to 3. That cluster of purchases from a single executive at a smaller firm carries more weight as a conviction signal.

China software group Kingdee International saw two separate bank-linked holders file combined net selling of over $222 million, with BlackRock and JPMorgan both disclosing reduced stakes around September 2 to 7.
